Along with his younger brother, he began training and auditioning immediately after impressing a New York film director that encouraged his career.His acting career has been polished by extensive coaching enabling his accomplishment of 15 commercials and 8 television and film projects as well as voice-over work. His impressive accomplishments even include a role as a young Sidney Poitier in ABC’s movie of the week “The Simple Life Of Noah Dearborn.” "Acting is my passion and I plan on continuing to act even when I become an adult," says the talented teen, a member of both the SAG and Recording Academy for Music.The young artist has expanded his career into the music spotlight. With the current buzz of his single, "Must Be the Shoes,” soon to catch national attention, JT plans to win the ladies over with his cute smile and endearing personality. Catapulting his career into the next level, the handsome emcee landed the opportunity of recording with Kanye West on the College Dropout album. "Working with Kanye was one of the best experiences ever. New artists such as myself don't get opportunities like that. I was able to be on the first track entitled "We Don't Care" on Kanye's CD," says JT. Determined to create an album with a lasting impression, JT has been working with producers Pit and Aftermath producers Bishop Lamont (Dr. Dre) and Focus (Beyonce).
