I was Born in South America, Colombia and raised in New York City and Miami,
I'm a filmmaker that has utilized my life experience to bring to the screen
innovative approaches that truly captivate the audience.Ballet and musical theater were my first passions of the performing
arts, and I traveled the world dancing with such prominent companies
as the Boston Ballet, Ballet Internacional de Caracas, and the
Milwaukee Ballet. I performed in West Side Story, The Music Man and
Guys and Dolls, just to name a few.I wound up back in New York City, on Broadway, performing in Cats.
When an unfortunate injury ended my dance career, that's when I turned my
creative talents towards the art of filmmaking.I have produced and directed syndicated television specials,
commercials, and have produced 4 independent feature films in South
Florida. Due to my choreographic skills I have specialized in music
videos.In 1989 I joined a major production house in N.Y.C. as executive V.P.
and program director, where I served such clients as NBC, ABC, HBO,
ESPN, MSG, Polygram Records and Grey Advertising. During this time
I was nominated for an Emmy Award for editing.I have been a judge for the Latin Emmy's and served 2 years as
President of the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association.
I'm a proud father of 4 children and currently sing in the choir
at Unity on the Bay church in Miami.
