Hey, how's ya night goin'?

About Me

what i do:
I'm a Cameraman and sometimes I'm a Director. I consider myself a 'film maker' but mainly work in television as a freelance operator. And as much as I'd like to get more into Gaffering and Cinematography, I'm not toooo bitter about the lack of film work in Christchurch. I'm just having the cooolest time as it is, doing the TV and video thing and working along side some of the industries most experienced and high-profile people! My favorite thing is shooting live multi-camera coverage of anything that is performing arts, ie: music, dance, fashion shows, concerts but especially live bands! Live to air is the best!! I've also been covering a lot of sport over the past year or two now and I am really starting to enjoy that heaps too.
I also work at St Andrew's College with the TV & Film dept. I make videos for the school as well as helping students with some of their practical work...
i'm a nice guy:
I'm an introverted person, but that doesn't mean I'm boring. When ya get to know me you'll find that I'm easy going with a pretty good sense of humor... especially after a few drinks, ha ha!! I just find it harder to just randomly approach strangers, however if someone, whether I know them or not, talks to me first, then I can chat for ages, eh :-)
frienship:
My friends are great and I value them. Whether they are close friends or work friends, I'm just so lucky to know them. Sometimes I find myself wondering, how the hell do they put up with me? But as far as I can tell they seem to enjoy my company just as much as I enjoy theirs!

what i like:
I love good food and I quite like to cook dinner on occasion. I think it's just yet another creative outlet for me - I enjoy cooking for friends and family and I've been told I'm a good cook... although I do make a hell of a mess in the kitchen.. sorry. Lol

I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!

My Interests

I like to go clubbing and party in the weekends (when I'm not working)

I'd like to meet:

Your mum:-)

Music:

I like most music from electronic, pop, jazz, hip-hop to rock ...really the list goes on - I'm just easy (Like ya mum's easy!) But if I had to pick a favourite genre I'd say, house/dance. That's what I listen to when I'm driving, when I'm rigging lights in da studio and when I'm havin' a drink in da club and am about to bust a move on tha dance floor!! Yeah! Luv it!

Movies:

I think I saw a film with your mum in it...
Nah, don't even ask me what my favourite movie is, 'cause I honestly don't know! I like movies and I'm very easy to please. Usually my favourite is what ever the latest one I've just seen was... Unless, for some reason, it was un-deniably BAD!!
Although, I reckon this one looks like it could be a bit of fun, eh...
The Devil Dared Me To: "Randy Campbell, the greatest dare-devil of all time..."
Team EEP! competed again in this years 48hour Film Competition in May!
Here is last years award winning effort...
Look out for: Robin Slade, the eternal optomist; the Mirror; and listen for the line "That's what I'm talking about."
Knawtra:
I hope you enjoyed that Pretentious Art Film.. Unfortunately, we weren't so lucky with this years entry and didn't quite make the cut for the city final.
"Mooseheart: A Wild Moose Chase" Based on a True Story, Featuring: Jerry Reid, a hypochondriac; a Rope; and the line, "What do you call that?"

We wern't so trigger happy with the 25th BTC recently held at the start of October! But that's just 'cause it was sooo full on, that we completly forgot about the stills camera. But we did take a few shots when the band Sweet Animosity visited the studio for the day!
We had a couple of musical groups perform in the studio for us.. I'll be posting some video shortly!! Stay tuned!!
