Cartoons was formed at the end of the year 2004 in the capital of Macedonia, Skopje by three neighbours Dejan Ignjatov, Jovo Mijovik and ex-member Bozhidar Nikolovski under the old project name Caashkavally. In the beginning of 2006 (or in the end of 2005, can't remember), after a year, Bozhidar quits this project due to obligations in his private life. Dejan and Jovo continued producing under their new project name Cartoons. so today the dynamic psychedellic duo from Macedonia are the men responsible for the Cartoons project. In spite of the fact that they are young their music is quite mature and euphonious. Dejan Ignjatov (Cthulhu) the musical virtuoso represents the more melodic side of the project composing unique harmonious and complex melodies, on the other hand Jovo Mijovik (Zebster) is the working force of the project responsible for the sound quality the atmospheres and the ravishing tone of the sound. They started producing in 2004 working the FL studio and after a while they realized that the Cubase..Nuendo platform is more suitable for them. Although working only 4 years, their sound quality is of reasnoble quality and they are working hard to improve that quality to the level of perfection. Their style can be defined as a blend of the two basic components of psytrance: The Light and the Dark. They have managed to create a matchless mixture of these components and fitted them masterfully in their music.
