MyGen Profile GeneratorNOVIOT POCHETOK (THE NEW BEGINNING) unnoficially started in the year 2002, without any great experiences from their former bands. The band was founded by three friends (Fic singing, and playing guitar, Darko (just playing guitar and John on bass) and they named the band MORFIUM.
A year after the forming (2003), the second guitar player Darko left the band, and after a while, a drummer came to play in the band, who was also named Darko. The moment when these three guys became the official members of the band, the band's sound changes radically and the band is officialy formed.
The first gig was played in early 2004 and after that the band for some reasons, changed the line-up in the band, and after that made a pause from the summer 2004 till the beginning of 2005 when the band returns to it's old line-up: Fic (sings and plays guitar), John (plays bass), and Darko (on drums). Later in May 2005 the band's got a new member, who plays second guitar and his name is Caci.
At the end of 2005 the name MORFIUM is being changed to NOVIOT POCHETOK (THE NEW BEGINNING). On 21st October 2006 the first album "Evolucijata bi trebalo da zapochne sega" ("The evolution should begin now") has been self-released on the own indie-label ficsixtynine records (http://www.f69r.co.sr).
At the end of 2006, after the promotion party in Skopje, unfortunatly the drummer Darko leaves the band (from his own reasons) and a few months after, the bass player John also leaves the band. After few months off, in March 2007 a new drummer (Bodin) and a new bass player (Ace) joined the band, and "The New Beginning" continued with the work for the next album which will be probably recorded at the middle of 2008. Noviot Pochetok plays fast, california-inspired, punkrock with a lot of hardcore elements, emotionally inspired by today's cruel society and the ethical moral valuables of human's life.
