I represent you and you represent me.
I is Plural. You are simply a part of me made manifest in another flesh. "Sister" is a wonderful title, b.u.t. does not do justice to the truth. Look into the eyes of your "sisters" and know that she is you. The lines of division are miniscule: Your first love had a different name than hers, her cycle began on a different day than yours, your role model was your grandmother, hers was her aunt...
B.U.T. the similarities are countless.
She has cried tears of heartbreak, knows the pain that loss brings, and has breathed the air that you now breathe. She has experienced pretending to be who she is not. Just like you. And she has held her own self and cried into her hands. Just like you. She has asked why, smiled when she really didn't feel like it, lied and said, 'I'm fine',carried aching feet all day, and supported her man when the world came against him...JUST LIKE YOU.
We are not so different from each other. Do not allow jealousy or personal pitfalls to keep you from complimenting your sisters today or any other day. And even if she doesn't say, 'Thank you', know that she she will carry that with her throughout her day and feeling wide with pride and validation, she will smile on the inside and praise herself for deserving it.
