Other Sounds are overly pleased to be hosting the Manchester leg of Brainlove Records’ jaunt around our tiny isle. If you haven’t already clocked the roster of this furiously independent and slightly eccentric label, allow me to guide your gaze towards their colourful manifesto:

The endlessly mischievous NAPOLEON IIIRD will be headlining: think sonic squirts, furry whirrs and shouty tunes of rebellion against day-to-day mundanity. His debut record, 'In Debt To', is due on October 22nd; here’s what some choice outlets say:
“Napoleon IIIrd is a crackpot from Leeds… making complex lo-fi pop out of piles of antique organs and car-boot keyboards, strummed chords, parps of brass and glitchy beats. ‘In Debt To’ is a rag-bag of pet sounds and futuristic pop…†– The Guardian
“Brimming with brilliant ideas and held together by consistent songwriting not common of this age… one of the most exciting solo artists in the country.†– Drowned In Sound
I’ve seen this man approximately 589,341 times and yet I’m STILL 999,999 million miles away from ever being bored.
