Recently signed to the legendary Warp Records Pivot is comprised of Sydney's Laurence and Richard Pike, plus Perth electronic manipulator Dave Miller. Influenced by synthesizer luminary Vangelis, Warp label mates such as Autechre, and the post-punk new wave of Talking Heads, Pivot are reminiscent of Battles in their combination of electronic and organic elements to create an outstanding groove. They will release their first single ‘In The Blood’ on Warp records in May.
Pseudo Nippon lives to exacerbate Japanese stereotypes. Imagine computer games obsessed aliens landed in Tokyo and decided that gabba should be the new language of the universe, only to terrorise the earth by spazzing out in karate outfit while screaming orientalist gibberish and you'd be getting close to this udon slurping fraudster.
Described as "Wired and wide eyed like a post-punk Mariachi combo" by Resonance FM Limn are a wonderfully inventive instrumental four piece from east LDN.
Plus Tape This! & Special Guest DJs playing awesome records that'll make you want to dance till late

Best known as the singer in the now sadly defunct Geraldine Fibbers Carla Bozulich is a startlingly unique artist. Her current musical project began in 2006 with release of her album Evangalista on Montreal based Constellation Records. Recorded by Silver Mt Zion’s Efrim Menuck Evangalista was at once brutally raw and weirdly visionary and went on top be included in the Wire’s best albums of 2006.
Returning in 2008 with her core co-conpirators Tara Barnes and Shahzad Ismaily Carla re christened her band Evangalista and set about recording her new album Hello, Voyager which was released in March 2008 by Constellation. Its beautifully ravaged and semi improvised soundscapes continue Carla’s unique musical trajectory and mark her out as a truly outstanding artist.
The Polly Shang Kuan Band is Karen Constance’s (smack music 7/blood stereo) ever changing group of feral female outsiders. Karen refers to the style as glamtronics – an amazing, elegant and stately mess of broken glass and serrated noise.
Wet Dog are a shambolic post-punk band from Brighton who are constantly compared with The Slits, but that's just because they're three good looking girls playing unusually good music.
