Limn

About Me

------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------
'With fire in their bellies as well as their instruments, Limn (4th Harmonic) by no means limp to or from any performance. Never before will you have seen such joyous treatment of raw musical tools, they simply wring value from the materials they have. However, that is as far as their sense of economy goes. The foursome allow a rich apocalypse to permeate the eardrums, guaranteeing an audience that stares on in admiration. Getting down and dirty has never been cleaner' ---------Lithe
Limn is a band who came together in their current line-up around early 2005. Racton thwacks the guitar and also the lo-end version of said instrument and has also been known to twit the drums on occasions. loom alien is not of this world, but still interfaces nicely with all known musical notes and beats (as well as some other unknown ones). James polydaddles the kit with a gusto, and swaps sticks for mitts with strings from time to time. Sam gaggles the mellifluous notes of guitar, six, and strokes of the drum, two.
"Wired and wide eyed like a post-punk Mariachi combo." - You are Hear - Resonance FM
"They have disregarded for a rigid formula of instrumental music, in favour of a looser, freer and wholly more passionate live performance' - Bad Hand Writing
"Constantly interchanging instruments, their sound combines a range of varied influences. Soaring and uplifting with joyous gusto, limn excite with every tune" - Utrophia
"Their tunes twist and teeter from one segment to the next, inventive time signatures and fast-paced fretwork the order of the day...Wonderful." - Drowned in Sound
