I have set up this profile to keep track of all my various music projects!
Latest of these is a trio with Pedal Steel Guitar Genius BJ Cole and Deke Martin on upright bass.
Rooted in an era when bands like the Texas Troubadours, The Cherokee Cowboys and the Brazos Valley Boys could hold their own against any jazz or swing combo.
A time when Country Music’s audience was becoming increasingly urban, affluent and eager to shake off their “Hick” roots. Gingham and denim was edged out in favour of lavishly decorated Nudie suits, while sophisticated levels of production and stellar musicianship gave the music a gloss far removed from the farmyard.
This new project puts BJ Cole, the UK’s most innovative pedal steel guitarist, back in touch with some of the defining styles in Pedal Steel Guitar, and takes me on a vocal journey unlike any I have undertaken before.

Born to play the dance halls and skull orchards of Texas, but stranded in the UK, Too DAMN Country kick ass like a Saturday night at the Continental club!
Our line-up includes some of the shit-kickin-est pickers on the planet!!!
