About Me

Well, the lead singer Morgan has a healthy baby boy Matthew Storm Guyton (born May 17th, 2006 at 8 pounds 2 oz). Bass player Patrick is moving to Atlanta. So things have been a bit crazy! We have still managed to get 4 CD reviews for our debut album which you can buy on CD Baby . Below are some excerpts from the reviews:
Daily Tar Heel (Chapel Hill): "Makes listeners want to play laser tag and draw in the margins of notebooks."
Avenue Magazine (Wilmington): "Mixing up recognizable eighties era hip-ness with flashes of metal and synthesizers, their debut cd brings the past into the present with political and social issues along for the ride. Labeling themselves power-pop, this Durham, NC band drops musical nods all over. Think Weezer and They Might Be Giants."
Encore (Wilmington): "All in all, their record label, Carbonated Records, could not have a more well-suited name to represent the Superheroes. The term carbonated is practically personified by the very music JVS plays: A quick tempo, mostly upbeat, sometimes sticky and sometimes sweet."
Up and Coming Weekly (Fayetteville): "Think Napoleon Dynamite meets Devo for a winner-takes-all showdown with Men In Hats."
