Baws Aloud for those of you from the home nation

About Me

"Balls Aloud" were formed in September 2004 after an unlikely meeting at a Band Camp in Biggar. Then under the name of "The Loaningdale Loners," they were really only messing aroung when they came up with the basis of their first song; "Boys You Have To Watch Out For."
Realising that this had potential, they decided to persue their obvious talent, and after a failed attempt at three piece outfit "Just Jammin'" (our drummer departed; don't think he could handle the fishnet overload) the girls reformed as "Balls Aloud."
Bearing in mind that they don't have a drummer, and that the bassist and guitarist are the same person, they have done well to produce catchy cover versions of Tatu's "All the things she said" and "So much Good" from the World famous "Dracula Rock Show."
Balls Aloud almost made a name for themselves after being only an inch away from performing their Tatu cover version at the Linlithgow Academy Rock Night 2005. Unfortunately the show coordinator saw this as a campaign for gay and lesbian rights and refused to let then perform as there were under 16s present, and he was worried about the impact that the accompanying dance routine would have on their underdeveloped minds.
The girls have only really been able to perform in school concerts so far, but last April achieved continental recognition when performing in Guyancourt, France, and supporting famous French singer Enzo Enzo.
Lucy and Natalie are two very sexy young talents originating from Kingston upon Thames and Dumfries respectively, and are just looking for a good time. Their ultimate aim is for a number one chart hit by 2020 (after which their bodies will have sagged so much that the dance routines will no longer be a selling point) but for now some recognition on Myspace would be nice.
With Lucy working on her Popular Music degree at the Manchester Metropolitan University, she luckily has all the correct contacts, and with Nat nailing a very taxing job to generate funds they are looking to be doing some shows as early as the summer (along with another name change...) and watch this space for some sample tracks.
