THE DESIGN PROCESS IS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Initial Customer Consultation: - During the planning stage, I spend time getting to know you. I may ask you to provide copies of your current marketing materials/and or media samples & I will ask you a lot of questions. During this stage, I may assess your: Overall directive of your project, Marketing Objectives, Target Audience & Customers, Competition, Project & Design Preferences, Ideas, and more. This is also the perfect time to share with me the vision you have for your project. The more details you share with me, the easier it is for me to deliver exactly what you want. This consultation is usually conducted over the phone or by email (If meeting in person is important to you, please let me know and a meeting can be arranged).
2. Concept and Design - Based on the information provided to me from the initial consultation, a price quote will be given along with design mockups and a detailed functionality outline for your feedback and approval.
3. Design Signoff - Once the draft is finalized, you will then signoff on the final design. The deposit of 50% will then be due.
4. Production - After your approval of the design concept and overall project structure, I begin to build your project. If this is a website, a working website is built in my development environment (on my servers). You will be given a link to view the progress of the website while it's being built. The Production Phase is often the longest phase of the project process. I build out all pages/screens and propagate with content and graphics, I code & develop all technical requirements (database, e-commerce functionality, etc), I also create the “bells and whistles†for the project (flash elements, dynamic drop down menus, etc.).
5. Client Testing - Testing, testing, testing. Once the project has been built it will be fully tested by me. I then turn it over to you to review and test. Revisions, if needed, are made to the project based on testing and feedback.
6. Project Completion/Deployement - Once I receive your final approval, your project is ready to “go liveâ€! The final payment will be due at this time. Depending on the type of project, I may: upload your web files to your live web server & submit the site to search engines (web project), submit to you the final files in printer ready format and also deliver them to the print shop of your choice via ftp transfer if you wish (print project), or submit to you the final files on CD Rom, DVD, or Video (CD, DVD, or Video Project). Final payment must be received before any files will be transferred.
7. Support - Ongoing support is available for as long as you have your site that I designed for you. Most requests I can address within 24-48 hours. If you need webmastering services, I can provide it for you at an hourly rate.
RATES:
My design & development rates depend upon the size & scope of each project. I will gladly work with you to put together a package that suits your individual needs, goals, and budget.
