Los Angeles, 2009. Santos de Los Angeles is currently gearing up for his 3rd album release entitled "The Secret Book of Game (Part I)."

Many of the songs as described by American Latino, "mix English and Spanish lyrics, an approach that allows him to reach a more broad audience. His message of Amor y Paz is key to his music, which is injected with Hip Hop, R&B, Reggaeton, and Dancehall."

In his own words, Santos explains, "'The Secret Book of Game' album has been a lifetime in the making. It should be subtitled, 'How to Raise a Player Saint'"
"Player Saint" is a title that Santos de Los Angeles uses to describe himself and many of his associates. "Player Saints & Player Goddesses for me represents balance, not getting so caught up with the paperchase that we forget that we have holy purpose for living aswell." Santos says that "The Secret Book of Game" is a "blueprint" outlining many of his values and the experiences that led him to his doctrine.

The album is scheduled to be released by the end of Summer by Santos' own Player Saint Records, independent label with distribution through iTunes and CD Baby.

Regarding the Recording Industry, Santos holds a positve outlook. "I see the current state of affairs as inevitable Karma," he says. "It is a cleansing, the strong will survive, and the smart motha*** will thrive... I love that we have so much freedom and power to release our own music on our own terms, but freedom is like a rope. A smart motha*** will make a ladder out of it and climb his ass out of a ditch, but a dumb motha*** will simply hang himself with it."

Shortly after premiering on iTunes in 2008, Santos de Los Angeles was honored as the featured artist during Valentine's week. His single "The Sweetest Thing," which promotes a positive portrayal of women, was offered as a free download which exposed Santos' music to an international audience.

Santos who was honored by Latina Magazine as “one of the 47 people, places and cositas we love” in their February Love issue, and recognized by the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) as the “Brightest new talent” after his first album release, has continued to to grow as an artist.

Santos de Los Angeles can be seen performing at the Annual "Festival de La Gente," a music and art festival hosted by Arte Calidad which has become a tradition in Los Angeles during Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead); he was a part of Santa's Hollywood Xmas Parade televised by KTLA Channel 5, and he appeared nationally on ABC’s American Latino. The music video for his single “Nina Orgullosa” has appeared throughout Myspace and Youtube, as well as MTV3 and LATV.

Saints & Goddesses, Social Club

Santos de Los Angeles is the spitiual leader of the Saints & Goddesses Social Club, a mutually beneficial fraternal and sororal organization based in Los Angeles California.

Since 2005, Santos de Los Angeles shifted away from the traditional rock and roll format, founding the Saints & Goddesses Social Club, as well as the Player Saint Orchestra. In the Saints & Goddesses Social Club (S&G), Santos gathered a collective of ambitious musicians, artists, dancers, pin-up models, and business-minded individuals rallying them around strong values and promoting a positive self-image through artistic expression.

Current membership is comprised of official members such as all employees of Player Saint Records as well as the Player Saint Orchestra, Bella Life Inc., Honey Marie Ent., Don Phil of Casa de Calacas("Game Award"), burlesque entertainer Ruby Champagne ("Honey Award"), pin-up model Lisa Love ("Honey Award"); art director Tony Dominguez & Arte Calidad ("Players Cup"); Associate members include reggae artist Splendid of the Netherlands, Latin group Manicato of San Francisco, Upground ("Players Cup" recipient), and countless other contributors.

Since it's foundation, the Saints & Goddesses Social Club has held numerous cultural festivals and events bringing together people in celebration. The Social Club has played an active role in promoting not only Santos de Los Angeles, but also the interests of it's members through events like the Player's Ball which has recognized accomplishments of various artists with the "Player's Cup." The Honey Festival, a spring event, awards a young lady every year with the "Honey Award," recognizing inner and outer beauty.
Saints & Goddesses Social Club has been integral in promoting Santos de Los Angeles in two US tours, as well as debuting Santos in a European tour.

Santos de Los Angeles has come along way since beginning his music career in 1998. Raised in the streets of Los Angeles, Santos’ songwriting is a reflection of the struggle that confronts so many young Latino youth who must face harsh urban realities. He has successfuly made his way from the barrio to UCLA. Against all odds, Santos de Los Angeles has moved forward as an artist, as a business man, and as a Player Saint.
