Channel Zero started in November of 2006 but the roots for this band were planted long before. Mke had been involved with other projects such as CoCo Thunder and some others just never managed to be pushed off the ground and Roy had also had a few failed attempts at music in the past such as Linda Says Dance (RIP) in 2004. Cameron had always been friends with Mike but since the beginning of the school year they had gotten alot close along with their friend Eric. while Roy was always out of town at a show or doing something more interesting Mike was in his basement with eric and cameron watching him play music. Mike has the ability to play just about every instrument in existance. So one night in mid November all 4 members of this future were chillin in Mikes Basement when Mike started Playing ''Cavalier Eternal'' by Against me! and Roy started singing and after that the band slowly began. within days Mike started Teaching Cameron Drums and Eric bass. both caught on quickly. Which left roy to be the vocalist of the band and all though his voice was never the best, his along with the rest of the bands drive and determination to create music that represents how they feel about the world they live in over powers negativities. One of the goals of the band is try to create more of a maplewood music scene with all these bands their high school is creating no one ever gets exposure well hopefully that will change soon. The band always tries to stay positive even on those bad days, rainy days and just plain gloomy days.
