This all Started off as "Whatever The (Folk!) It Takes" with myself, Gil, Chris and Porta...Then after Gil & Chris's departure to travel the country from East to the Edge across the Middle to the West up North...I decided to keep this folk freight rolling...
Soon after naming my solo project "Armed Metropolis"...I released a demo called "On the First Bus back to Jersey, Who would've thought?" during the summer of 2005...then went on to releasing a E.P with Porta on second guitar in November..."Campfire Collection For Revolutionary Romantics" was the E.P Title...Four Heart pumping songs dedicated to the Trio...then on May Day 2006 Slug's Revenge & Armed Metropolis released a Split record titled "Triumph Till It Sinks"...10 songs each Odds/Evens...
Slug's Revenge and Armed Metropolis went on Tour together soon after, up and down the east coast...meeting & adding Whiskey Smile! on Tour...Armed Metropolis is now working on a 8 songs E.P along with a Split w/ Captain, My Captain will finally be released after a year of talking about it...I also working on NEW! merchandise for this upcoming tours with the help of Sid @V.O.F & SawJaw Records...
Armed Metropolis is slowly becoming just a recording project...I plan on still making music under the name but i don't think i'll be touring as a solo artist after these Tours...I find myself wanting to be part of a band...Touring with live drums and other instruments...I'm also trying to build SawJaw Records along with my best friends...Thanks
