About Me

Myspace Layouts
Se7enth Swan Publishing Group, LLC is a multimedia producer of educational and historical books and audio-visual programming. We cater to youth, ages 3-10, in the African American and Hispanic Communities.
We believe that our products will give these youth the empowered vision to both:
1. Reclaim their identities,
AND
2. To IMAGINE and create endless POSSIBILITIES for their own lives.
At Se7enth Swan, we IMAGINE the POSSIBILITIES. We invite you to IMAGINE the POSSIBILITIES with us!
We are a group of college students who are interested in creating positive change in the lives of minority children, ages 3-10. We recognize that there is a lack of valuable educational or historical books that are specifically geared towards African American and Hispanic children.
We also recognize that many children in our communities have no idea about the numerous accomplishments and success stories of minorities. Current children’s books rarely highlight the contributions that African Americans and Hispanics have made to the United States, and throughout the world!
As children, we did not have many books with black or brown characters. What about you? How often did you read a children’s books with any brown faces or positive stories? As a child, how often could you find a fun book at the library with black faces and positive stories?
We have grown tired and frustrated with just talking about all the problems and negativity in our community. We decided to take action...and actually participate in a new business that will change the world! We are not content to simply “talk about it” anymore…rather; we plan to “be about it!” Therefore allow us to introduce ourselves.
