About Me

Ever since I was little I used to make mix tapes for friends and one day I thought it'd be much easier just to have a radio show so everyone I knew could listen in. So one day I decided to do just that. After two years of doing shows, I became the programming manager of a radio station. Slowly the radio station began to change, and I disliked many of the ways it was being run, so I quit. Nowadays I just do the odd graveyard on another station, RRR, which is usually lots of fun. I love playing music. I can play violin, piano, drums, a little bit of guitar and even less on bass. I write stuff that noone really gets to hear except for my dog Bea. I play in a band called Duckdive - our debut CD "Stories for another day" is available through Laughing Outlaw/Inertia. These days I work in medical research, trying to discover cures for cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, amongst other things. Last year I bought a huge tropical marine fishtank and it is full of coral, pretty fish and shrimps. I love them! One day when I am old, you will know me as the crazy cat lady who lives down your street. But I will have dogs too. That is all.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

You know, I have pretty much met everyone I have wanted to meet. I have already met my favourite band of all time, REM, I've met Radiohead, Idlewild, Coldplay, At The Drive In, The Posies, Ash, and a whole bunch of others. I met Belle & Sebastian walking down the st a couple of years ago, but maybe I'd like to have a picnic with them all. Yeah. That'd be cool.

I adore Michael Stipe, Ken Stringfellow, and...um...I think that's all.
