I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My name is Carina.

I like going out to see bands play live music, call me a groupie and I may just have to slap you.
I detest when people ask me to list the bands that I like because it's always so hard. My music tastes change with my mood, though generally I am into pop/rock styles mostly.

I'm constantly checking out new local bands that may be able to work with some of the artists I'm involved with.

I'm currently working with Ben Smith, Betamax, and Signet Mae.

If you're a musician, take the time to write me a message (don't just spam me with a boring ol' friend request) and if you're a music loving punter do the same because I like meeting new peeps to have a beer with and share the awesomeness of Australia's live music scene.

If you want more info about me, keep perusing my MySpace or drop me a message....

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Myself on MySpace....so I can be in my own extended network.

Christina Aguilera @ Acer Arena - Wed 25 July ’07

I knew that this show would be a spectacle, and it was definitely that. From beginning to end we were treated to a concert that slipped between musical theatre and cabaret, fashion and rock show....

Expatriate @ The Corner Hotel, Melbourne - Sat 20th July '07

To cap off my trifecta of East coast capital city album launch dates for Expatriate and their debut LP "In The Midst Of This" on a spontaneous crazy whim I ventured to Melbourne for an overnight jaunt...

Expatriate @ The Zoo, Brisbane - Sat 14th July '07

The Zoo and Brisbane's live music scene was a whole new territory for me to explore. Thankfully I was in good company with Tom Murphy from Brisbane band The Bloodpoets to show me around before we made...

Human Nature @ Syd Ent Cent - Sat 7th July '07

So here's my almost shameful love of pop music making itself apparent. I definitely went into this with some trepidation - a bunch of 4 white-as-white boys singing Motown? Come on! I'll give credit wh...

Expatriate @ Gaelic Theatre - Sat 30 June '07

It's hard to focus on support acts when you're itching for the headline, but I was determined to try and stay open-minded this night. The kids from Soft Tigers look like they're barely out of high-sch...

Katie Noonan @ The Factory - Fri 22nd June '07

When we walked into the room, we were greeted by the sounds of a singular man onstage performing a song purely with his own voice. Mr Percival is a truly unique musical entity, creating songs out of h...

Guy Sebastian @ The Basement - Fri,Sat,Sun 8,9,10 June '07

"It was a dark and stormy night .....", well the weather certainly was putting on some horrendous conditions for us to brave, but thankfully The Basement was all set to heat up with some live sou...

Eskimo Joe @ Enmore Theatre - Fri 1st June '07

For me this gig was like coming full circle. The first time I ever saw Eskimo Joe perform was here at the Enmore, but they were supporting Alex Lloyd, and their debut album had been burning slowly col...

Thirsty Merc @ Enmore Theatre - Sat 26 May '07

When I arrived at the Enmore Theatre I knew I was set for a big night and it's taken a little while but the boys from Thirsty Merc had finally cracked it and sold out the Enmore. The buzz outside...

Guy Sebastian @ Sydney Opera House - Fri 4 / Sat 5 May '07

As my previous blog review about Guy Sebastian revealed, I'm a dirty big fan of his, and when I heard about these shows I knew that regardless of anything else, I'd be there.Guy Sebastian & the Au...
