Johnny Other and the Choruses

we were formed in 1958 when Menashe Kapara,Raphael Coconut and Jonathan Atarovski (AKA Johnny Other) met in the navy base located in bat-galim,haifa. at first Raphael was the drummer,Menashe played the bass and Johnny was the singer/guitarist. things didn't go that well and the band's first record "Enjoy The Summer With The Choruses" was a disaster in the record stores. Johnny started drinking malt beer and then arak,Menashe retired to build a home in the "ghetto's fighters kibutz" and Raphael was a technician on a "Zim" ship. Johnny's drinking became a problem and he died from alcohol poisoning. at the funeral Menashe and Raphael met and decided to start the band again to honor Johnny. and that's that.
