Nicole Maiden has been seriously involved in electronic music and djing since the early 90's,djing for over 13 years.A big passion and love for the music grew with her from childhood always listening to different styles and a lot of experimental sounds from 60's psychadelia to jazz.At the first opportunity to try mixing she was playing the classic early dance tunes coming out of the UK, Frankfurt ,Berlin,Detroit etc, and started mixing in Liverpool ,clubs,house parties,and outdoor events between 96-2000,whilst working at Voodoo,Liverpool's main techno/house night,and regularly visiting the Orbit in Morley,gaining much of her influence from here.
Now her sound is mostly a progressive techno/house vibe,but can incorporate anything from harder edge tech through to the more tropical sounds of tribal house and electro,keeping a broad spectrum.Now involved in different internet radio shows, such as Proton and Netgrooves, she is also starting to play in Germany and is working more on production to bring her programming skills to the forefront.Check out some mixes on___; myspace.com/mixmaidenuk
