He startet playing professional keyboard on live shows by the age of 9 years in his fathers band in Lelystad (NL), by the age of 15 he was touring South America with his first reggae band "The Creators" (www.myspace.com-creatorsarnhem) who scored major hits including two 1 hits in Suriname and played for the President of Surinam himself, Mr. Desi Bouterse. After returning from this tour Dennis founded his own band "K.T.S. Crew" based in Venlo (NL) where he built up the music studio "Karma Touba Sound Studio" and started his career as producer in the field of reggae music with artists like Michael Rose (Black Uhuru), Frankie Paul, Errol Dunkley, Michael Prophet and many more. Now being in the music bussiness for many years as a studio engineer, musician and producer he is an expert in different styles like Reggae, R&B, HipHop, Dancehall and 2step. In the year 1995 he landed the first national 1 R&B hit in Holland.Meanwhile he is well known as keyboard player of the backing bands K.P. Crew and Sharp Axe Band.
The K. P Crew worked for artists like D-Flame, Jamaica Papa Curvin, Zoe, Anthony Locks, Jah Sesco. They played on Roots Rockers release "Wunderschön" and produced most of the tracks for D-Flames album "Unaufhaltsam".
The Sharp Axe Band, which Dennis formerly founded in 2003 (named after his "Sharp Axe Studio" in Deventer, NL) works for artists like Uwe Banton, Jamaica Papa Curvin, Dr. Ring Ding, Rico Rodriguez, Prezident Brown. End of 2006 they released their album "Each one, Teach one" (www.myspace.com-sharpaxeband).
As well as with his bands and as a solo artist Dennis is seen in videos of Muhabbet "Ich will nicht geh'n" (2006), Zoe "Rock Steady" (2004) and many live show recordings, some of them are shown here. I hope you enjoy this page. Muhabbet
