H.P. Lange born in Denmark 1963. Has played blues & roots music since the age of 16. lived for a while i Louisiana, USA. Learned from and played with blues performers such as Kenny Brown & Cedric Burnside, John Mooney, R.L. Burnsude, Junior Kimbrough.
H.P. lange performs solo and with his trio, The Delta Connection. His shows contains a mixture of his own songs, traditionnal delta blues and the grooving one-chord songs of R.L. Burnside and others from the Northern Mississippi area.
H.P. Lange has recieved two Danish Music Awards for two previous cd-releases and are just now nominated for another one for best blues-album 2006.
H.P. lange also records and perform with Danish Blues & Jazz icons, Troels Jensen, Hugo Rasmussen & Jarno Varsted.
