One In The Chamber

One In The Chamber was originally formed in the Spring of 1997 by guitarists Felipe Leon and Javier Sanchez, vocalist Cheyenne Cobarrubias, drummer Eymos Ortiz, and bassist Jose Ocadiz. With the departure of original guitarists, David Urbina and Landon Cobarrubias joined to record the band's second offering. The group continued to perform until 2002 before disbanding later that year. Original members have now reformed along with long time friend and new guitarist Adrian Celicio; to play, perform and create music once again.Each member of the band has been involved in the local southbay/tijuana music scene for some time. They've been members of such groups as Liberated Youth, Albino Pollywogs, Brownstool, Headstrong, Cold Harbor, Organix, and the Warriors and also as Organicsounds; selectors who have DJ'd local functions and clubs.Members of One In The Chamber have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with: Minus One, Shamadhi, Quinto Sol, Aztlan Underground, Drip By Drown, Ten Foot Pole, Calavera, Mexican Jumping Frijoles, Tijuana No, Puya, Eek A Mouse, Yellowman, Fidel Nadal, Molotov, Headstrong, Impel, Mower, P.O.D, G13.
