La’Dies (pronounced “La Dice”) was formed on 9th September 2001. June 2002 saw the release of their first maxi single “Spiritual”. The band was also active in Malaysia, apart from their native Singapore.
La'Dies paused activities in the year 2003. However, the band re-emerged again in 2007 with a new member line-up and a slight change in music styles, following the release of a second EP, “Psyche” in June 2008.
“Psyche” breaks the traditional and stereo-typical boundaries of Chinese music with La’Dies’ experimental and fusion of different music styles, which in turn established the band’s own unique identity.
They have since garnered a relative amount of curiosity and attention, as well as earned their own league of supporters for the eclectic sound and the high level of energy displayed in their showmanship.
