I began listening to Hip Hop and R&B in 2005, when I first saw Missy Elliott's Lose Control video featuring Ciara and Fatman Scoop. I had never listened to rap, well, I didn't listen to any kind of music, it just wasn't part of my life. But from that moment on, I began to listen to more and more black music. Contemporary R&B, soul, dancehall singers and more rappers came into my life. Eventually, i became a hip hop fan, getting specially interested in female rappers and the 90s sound, specially in New York. Later i went on getting to know more about grime british rap, spanish hip hop and R&B, reggae and dancehall, or alternative rap. Now, I'm trying to make my own music, recording remixes or my first raps on other artists' beats or downloading some from the Internet and I hope to upgrade myself to more professional music works.
