Initialement mon projet peinture s’intitulait « People of the Night ». Il devait me permettre de rendre hommage aux acteurs de la Nuit, « électronique » notamment. Cette musique ayant toujours su inspirer mon imaginaire.
Depuis peu sur Myspace, j’ai rencontré des gens, « des gueules », des univers qui ne m’ont pas laissé indifférent, loin de là. Un Musée de l’Homme virtuel passionnant. Ces rencontres, parfois nocturnes et accompagnant mes nuits d’insomnies, j’ai décidé de leur donner vie à ma façon (n’est pas Dieu qui veut, quoi que…) en les intégrant dans mon projet initial. Il ne me restait plus qu’à changer le nom de ce dernier : « People of the Night vs... People of Myspace ». Voilà qui est chose faîte.
Initially, I had entitled my painting project "People of the night". It was meant to pay tribute to actors on the world of the night, of the "electronic" world of the night notably, for this music has always inspired my imagination.
For a few months, on Myspace.com, I've met some people, some "atypical faces", some worlds, and saying that I have been very touched by them would be an understatement! A fascinating virtual Museum of Mankind. I sometimes met these people at night during sleepless nights, I decided to bring them into the world my own way (no one's God, unless…), (that is) by including them into my initial project. All I had to do then was to change its (the latter's title) : "People of the Night Vs… People of Myspace(.com)". Done !
