ROM dj & live performance depuis 1989.
Rom est considéré par beaucoup comme une référence.
C’est à la fin des années 80 qu’il a le coup de foudre pour la House et la Techno venues respectivement de Chicago et de Detroit. Alors Dj en club il décide d’explorer ce «nouvel art du mixage» et ne tarde pas à faire «groover» les dance floor de l’Ouest de la France lors de soirée raves.
Passant du mixe au live il ne tarde pas à ce faire un nom sur la scène national : Dj Rom. Avec son tout nouveau projet 703 , il surprendra par son aisance à mixer Electro, Funky Breaks et Techno.
«Ce qui me plait dans la Techno c’est son côté fonctionnel : la danse... L’art du mixage, la communion par la danse, l’expression par le son, le sample, l’idée du collage me semble êtres des mots juste pour parler de Techno : n’oublions pas qu’il s’agit aussi de Feeling et de Groove»...
Depuis 1999 Rom à démarré un projet électroacoustique et contemporain : ro3
