E ntertainment Media Works (EMW) launched StarStyle ( www.starstyle.com ) on March 20,2006, as a groundbreaking "supersite" that enables viewers to identify and purchase the apparel,furnishings, gadgets and music featured in their favorite TV shows and music videos.
Seeking to build the premier destination website to sell products seen and discovered via myriad entertainmentplatforms, the privately capitalized venture aims to make their site the most comprehensive in a nascent field.
To date launch partnerships for the site have included "American Idol" for the launch of its television component, Universal Music Group for the launch of its music arm and"The Real World: Key West" for the launch of its auctions. Additionally, EMW has signed dealswith such content partners as Sony, Warner Bros., ABC, Procter & Gamble, TeleVest, Bunim-Murray Productions, FremantleMedia, 19 TV Ltd., and Universal Music Group.
Through these relationships and others, StarStyle includes such popular series as The Simple Life, 'Till Death Do Us Part, "The Young and The Restless and will feature many new shows as part of the Fall 2007 season.
