Triban

A solar powered music venue in a Morrocan Marque

About Me

Well now the festival season is over and we're recovering its time to think about the winter, and make plans for next summer. So first off we're teaming up with our old friends at Junk for what's gonna be a cracking party - expect great music, chai, herbal highs and info stalls from Triban - October 19th - if we make this one work, it will become a monthly night, and we'll bring our favourite festival bands to Cardiff this winter for you all.

TRIBAN

Triban is a solar powered music venue and cafe situated within a Moroccan Marquee. We provide and create a magical space for musicians, poets, and cabaret acts, designed to inspire and delight.

Festivals in 2007 we were at: Small World (spring and summer) Llanfyllyn Workhouse festival Sunrise Celebration Buddhafields Big Green Gathering

Festivals in 2006 included: Small World (spring and summer) Radford Mill Circus Gathering The Sunrise Celebration Buddhafields Big Green Gathering

We hosted many performers on our open mic stage, festival bands, musicians, and acts who wanted to play.

As a collective we work together sharing and contributing skills. Our collective includes technicians, musicians, artists, performers, activists… We believe in working together non-hierarchically and are a non profit organization – we do it out of love!

Triban aims to offer a glimpse into the way we want to live, we believe our collective way of working creates a productive and empowering way of life.
