In the year 2001, a few students got together with a common vision. This vision was to have a youth publication, based out of Paradise, CA. Youth on the Ridge (a youth organization) was formed to begin working on this major project. As the year went by, ideas were put into action. With the help of those that believed in the goals, VOICE magazine was created. The goal of Youth on the Ridge is to unite the youth and the adults of the community in the area of art and writing, while facilitating talent, and working together to create a strronger and thriving community. We hope to expose some of the dangers we face today as youth growing up in an often unresposive, or unhealthy environment. It is the Goal of VOICE magazine that we, as artists of expression and imagination, can unite as a famliy. The dream has become reality. We have a place now to house our thoughts, our ideas, our talents, our goals and....our voices.
