Chicken soup for the ears

About Me

Declan first got together with himself back in 1975 for some early compositions on a chord organ that was lying around the house and to play violin in church. He split with himself in 1978 citing "creative differences." In the eighties he worked with Fake Giraffe Records' Robert Porter. Various projects followed (bass in Dr. Nick and the Pharmacy of Soul, frontman for Blue Plastic Clout.) Last year Declan agreed to get back together with himself on a trial basis. It's such a familiar tale, but yes indeed it went better than anyone expected. The music was tighter than ever and the word "magic" was being bandied recklessly about. Declan Zimmerman made his triumphant return to the stage in and around Los Angeles in the Spring of 2005.
