What beautiful weather we have been having! I love the sun.

Lots of fun camping and vacation trips planned for this summer. I love my job--they let me take time off! And pay me for it!

Kory and I went camping at Kalaloch a couple of weeks ago. We had a great time on the beach and it was mostly sunny. We had campfires and smores and hiked up and down the beach. We came back dirty, tired and happy. It was such a nice vacation.

Of course, I love my job for many reasons. I gave a summer reading presentation at one of my schools recently and later that day, a boy came in and said "A librarian lady came into my school today and told me about a bunch of cool sounding books."

My Interests

Reading! hiking, biking, skiing, camping, running, movies, hanging out with friends, late mornings in the sun, swimming and playing at the beach.

I'd like to meet:

The real slim shady.

Rafting and Manuel Antonio

Yesterday we went rafting and it was awsome. We spent about 2 hours total in a c-3 to c-4 river. The rapids were great fun and no one fell out, much to the chagrin of the photographer....

Earthquake Today

It was just a little one, magnatude 4.1 about 5 miles outside of Deming Washington. Still, when I first saw that alert on my UW Page, it made my heart flutter. We have it so good here.
