MySpace Layouts MySpace Codes MySpace BackgroundsI like to read books. I've been around I suppose. I'm attracted to interesting people. My favorite color is green. Things that I love to do? Play guitar and piano - paint - draw - write poetry - go to museums and bookstores - I like theatre and the ballet - baseball on the radio (Boston Red Sox!) - I like going to church on weekdays when there is only a few people there. The Kwan Um School of Zen Buddhism is a great place to hang around too. I've had some great experiences in life: art courier/musician/offshore fisherman. I need to be near the ocean so I'm quite partial and loyal to New England. Newport, Rhode Island is beautiful. I love all of my friends here and if you click on any one of them it's like opening a little present!

My Bohemian Life

I went off with my hands in my torn coat pockets;
My overcoat too was becoming ideal;
I travelled beneath the sky, Muse! and I was your vassal;
Oh dear me! what marvellous loves I dreamed of!

My only pair of breeches had a big whole in them.
– Stargazing Tom Thumb, I sowed rhymes along my way.
My tavern was at the Sign of the Great Bear.
– My stars in the sky rustled softly.

And I listened to them, sitting on the road-sides
On those pleasant September evenings while I felt drops
Of dew on my forehead like vigorous wine;

And while, rhyming among the fantastical shadows,
I plucked like the strings of a lyre the elastics
of my tattered boots, one foot close to my heart!

~ Rimbaud

Some of my poems...

Frosty Drew's Telescope

He saw binary stars
swirling pixie dust
rumors of black holes
sucking him in

Galax urceolata
soaking wet nebula
glistening and growing
dripping milky way

souls of poets
intertwined
and helpless
free form ending
in sudden death

and is that heaven?
beyond the last rim
staring at the cold and icy truth
subtle smile...

they put a madman behind
the lense of their telescope
yet never noticed
he was clenching his hands...

Expecting the Rain

Expecting the rain
then everything changed
when a snowflake
touched your tongue

Instruments and Passion

Six reasons to change the subject
88 ways to avoid reality
One microphone to say things I don't mean
Two amplifiers to proclaim my vulnerabilities
One wine glass to make it all okay
Alone in my little studio
what more can I say?

88 Keys

3 a.m. in front of 88 keys
afraid to break the perfect silence
the fog horn sounds over Narragansett Bay

Stupid crow
wakes me again
another day
waiting for you

Caribou under moon
drifting snow-
somewhere a fishing boat
is sinking

we agreed to look at the same star
last night
but oh! distracted
by a meteor shower

Vast and Deep

meteors bounce off the stratosphere
sending sparkling diamonds toward the vast sea-
poised frightened on this breezy shore
my god! so lurid - left wanting more

You see, sometimes I get into a struggle with canvasses that seems just like arguing with a person. It's pulling and tugging. The canvas just has to have its murky way. We argue. We don't talk for da...

Ruth Bernhard

I was thinking about the people I met and the art work that I handled back in 2001/2002. I came across a photo of 'Twiggy' a little while ago and recalled how I wrapped and boxed one of her mini skirt...

Bien, le survivre à tourne et c'est une belle chose. Bien qu'il ait fait toujours froid hier, il y avait des oiseaux chantant dans ma arrière-cour. Ils semblent vouloir le ressort autant que je . J'a...
