Bend je nastao decembra 2001. godine. Na samom pocetku (svima nam je ovo bio prvi i jedini bend), u pomoc su nam uvek priticali jedna Koala i Debeli Medved na cemu cemo im uvek biti zahvalni. Pocetak – entuzijazam: stopiranja na minus 10°C na relaciji Coka-Senta radi sviranja u hladnoj prostoriji kod Matorog samo na razglasu u koji su isli i gitara i bas i glas nisu nam bila nikakvo cimanje. Tad smo svirali obrade – klasika – rani Agnostic Front, Warzone i Madball i sl. , sto smo ustvari svi i slusali. Tada smo cesto imali probe sa bendom Brain Damage iz Ade od kojih smo dosta nauchili, a koji vise ne postoji. Nasa prva svirka bila je njihova poslednja.
Dugo smo bili lenji i nase pesme pocinjemo da radimo tek krajem 2003. Preko autorskih pesama uplice se tu u pricu i neki youth crew style HC, i grind/crust i malo metaliziranih delova, ali je to ipak i dalje old school hc. Svirili smo sa najchesce sa drugarima False Reality, Avans Prohtevom i Badong-om, a tu su i Lets Grow i Heavenshore, Lockdown, Nakot, KBO!, Zbogom Brus Li, Neuroza, Stronghold (Cro), Another way (Hu), Forgoten Truth (Hu), Quest from inside (Hu), New Front, No safety, S.N.B. , Muzika Poludelih ... Nas najveci uspeh je predgrupisanje Love Huntersima(!).
Payback funkcionise u naletima, talasima, nekad jedva da imamo tri probe u pola godine, pa onda uradimo tri pesme za mesec dana... Mi drugacije ne znamo i ne mozemo... Demo snimak dostupan uskoro.

Payback started playing in december 2001. with a great help of our friends from Avans Prohtev. In the begining, we played covers, since this was our first band and we were pretty obscure with our knowledge of playing.
Madball, Warzone and Agnostic Front songs from their early period were just enough for us. We had our first show in 2002. with our friends Brain Damage from Ada and Avans Prohtev, and the second the same year with False Reality.
In the next period we started playing our songs and put a lots of influences in them - NYC, fastcore, grind, crust, a bit of metal... Still have no respectable audio record for any of our songs :)
We palyed mostly with our brothers False Reality, Avans Prohtev, Badong (r.i.p), then there were Heavenshore, Lets Grow, Lockdown, Nakot, KBO!, Zbogom Brus Li, Neuroza, Stronghold (cro), Another Way (hu), New Front, S.N.B., Love hunters, bla bla...
We play rarely these days, since the different occupations and hometowns but we dont give up. Expect the first, a 6 year demo from PAYBACK to come out soon!
And remeber this aint about the fucking labels, zines, bands, fucking ideologies or tourism, notice a missing of two essential things that are rare today: friendship and sincerity. This means nothing without it. Remember that.
