Zalozycielem grupy byl Arek „Szczota”, aktywista dzialajacy przy wielu organizacjach anarchistyczno- ekologicznych, organizator koncertów tematycznych. Brak mozliwosci realizacji wlasnych, nieco bardziej bezposrednich pomyslów przelozyl na dzialalnosc dzwiekowo- wizualno- tekstowa, stopniowo doprowadzajac ja tylko do formy dzwiekowo- tekstowej. W 2000 roku zwerbowal pozostale brakujace do mozliwosci realizacji swojego planu elementy i stworzyl (skladajaca sie z ponizszych jednostek: Iza, TV, Budyn, Kwiatek, Betka) szescioosobowa formacje, która zaczela prace nad pierwsza plyta z jeszcze dosc kakofonicznymi dzwiekami. Teksty Szczoty na pierwszej plycie byly forma wytyków i grózb, zostaly napisane jeszcze przed stworzeniem muzyki, nad, która pracowal wspólnie z Danielem Betka. Material zostal zarejestrowany w 2002 roku i wydany d.i.y dzieki pomocy Jacka Polewskiego za posrednictwem Szczoty, który nastepnie wspólpracujac z wydawnictwem Redrum przypieczetowal to juz oficjalnym wydaniem plyty. Wydanie plyty stalo sie silnym napedem koncertowym. Zespól rozpoczal dalsza prace nad materialem do nowej plyty. Perkusista równolegle bierze udzial w projekcie Alienacja i wyjezdza z nimi na trase do Niemiec i Holandii. Poprzez wspólprace Szczoty z Alienacja zaciska sie wiez miedzy zespolami i dochodzi do wspólnej trasy koncertowej, w ten sposób Trocki rusza poza granice Polski. W miedzyczasie trwaja prace nad nowa strona internetowa. Przyjaciel zespolu Lukasz wraz z perkusista osiagaja wreszcie zamierzony efekt i powstaje wyrazista, symboliczna szata graficzna zespolu- zarówno strony jak i zaplanowanej nowej plyty. W 2005 roku dochodzi do zamkniecia materialu na druga plyte pt. „Bez konca” i zarejestrowania go w studiu Hertz. Bardzo szybko znalazl sie wydawca- N.I.C i album po kilku miesiacach ujrzal swiatlo dzienne, a po roku takze ukazal sie na winylu. Na drugiej plycie testy Szczoty sa juz bardziej dojrzale, bardzo mocno uderzaja we wladze, kosciól a nawet samego boga. Zespól nie przebierajac w srodkach i agresywnosci atakuje wladze, przez co staje sie jedna z najbardziej lewicujaco- anarchizujacych grup grindowych. Mimo tak odmiennego stylu muzycznego czesto mozna spotkac porównania Trockiego do Guerniki, Wlochatego…. W styczniu 2008 roku na chwile przed trasa do Danii z powodu zdecydowanej róznicy pogladów i sposobu dzialania kapeli z zespolu odchodzi wokalista TV i basista Budyn. Zespól Trocki po raz pierwszy, po ich odejsciu odzyskuje trzezwosc umyslu i ma wielkie szanse na zagranie koncertu w pelnym skladzie i na nie przespanie waznych chwil w zyciu kapeli. W tym momencie klaruje sie sklad zespolu i trwaja prace nad nowym materialem. Zespól otrzymal propozycje tras i koncertów miedzy innymi po Filipinach a takze pod koniec roku uklada sie dawno planowana a nie odbyta do tej pory trasa po Danii. Poza Polska zespól pojawil sie w takich miejscach jak: Niemcy, Czechy, Francja, Szwajcaria, Hiszpania, Norwegia, Szwecja, Finlandia, Lotwa, Estonia

The founder of the band was Arek "Szczota", an activist involved with many anarcho-ecological organizations who has organized many concerts associated likely themes. Unable to completely realize ideas that were fully his own based on a sound-text-visual methods, eventually taking an audio-textual form. In the year 2000, he managed to gather the missing elements of his artistic plan and created a group consisting of 6 people (Iza, Tv, Budyn, Kwiatek, Betka). They began work on their first album, having still a blooming and cacophonous sound. Szczota's lyrics were raw products written before the music, which meanwhile was creating with Daniel Betka. They put out the album d.i.y. style with the help of Jacek Polewski and Szczota's connections with the publication Redrum. With some backing, the record was officially out. The record's break out caused an intense series of concerts. The band started working on new tracks for the next album, while the drummer regularly was taking part in the project "Alienacja", sending him to Germany and Holland. The ties between Szczota and Alienacja, established a tight bond between bands and plans to tour together. In this light, Trocki is able to go outside Poland. Meanwhile, the webpage is worked on, and the visual and audio output continues to closely reflect the band's ethos. In 2005, the second album, "Bez Konca" is finished and recorded. It is quickly released and a year later even manages to be put on vinyl. Szczota's lyrics on the second album are noticeably more refined and hit hard at power, the church, and even god himself. The band is one of the most anarcho-leftist grind bands around. Despite the mutable nature of their music, Trocki has been compared to Guernika, Wlochaty. In January of 2008, due to different visions on the band's direction, the vocalist Tv and bassist Budyn left the band. After the split, Trocki continues with a new consciousness and opportunities for playing. At the moment, the band's line-up is working itself out, but new material continues to evolve. The band was offered three new tours, including around the Phillipines, and at the end of the year, the band plans to make a long-awaited tour to Denmark. Outside of Poland, the band has performed in: Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Spain, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Latvia, Estonia.
