Darlyne has a writing style that is influenced by her Latin roots and diverse living experience. Darlyne was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and later moved to Miami, Florida. In Miami, she pursued her academic dream of studying Shakespeare and Classical Renaissance Literature which led to graduate coursework study at Florida International University.
Since relocating to L.A., as consultant, Darlyne works closely with directors and producers by providing script analysis and coverage. Some projects entail plot analysis and critique character development. Her analysis is invaluable since projects have become green lighted due to her comments and character development by major studios. Darlyne also provides post screening analysis.
Darlyne works with various music production companies. She freelances for projects ranging from press releases, artist history & biographies, writing and developing EPK packages for new artists to music video production. Also, Darlyne produces and coordinates projects for film and television concerning endeavors by LUGO MUSIC.
Darlyne's extensive experience is not limited to the film ndustry. As a Sony Pictures Entertainment Miami employee, Darlyne help launch its Latin cable television network. She published a global magazine for the Programming Department achieving much accolade and received awards. Personal projects include feature screenplays, short film, short stories and critical analysis with social commentary.
