The History of Grendel in radio is long and amazing. He started at KSCU back in 1999 and since then has been a mainstay on the airwaves. First alone, and then with such co-djs as the Purple People Eater and the Goddess, Grendel became a well known quantity in the Bay Area. Then came "The Laziest Men in Showbiz" with Grendel and Knit, a non-stop punk rock delight (with the occasional soft side). Eventually, Grendel and V-Dogg met, in the spring of 2000, and they became two of the most well respected personalities in college radio! First they conquered California. Then they conquered the State of Washington. After such great success, V-Dogg decided it was time to retire, and simply live the good life provided by Punk, while Grendel decided to trudge on and continue providing the masses with the music they so longed for. Although the finest punk rock DJs on the West Coast are no longer a team, Grendel can still be heard rockin the air waves like no other, as he hosts the "Punk Rock Pariah" radio show on KSUB, Seattle 89.1 FM. Listen to Grendel every Thursday Afternoon from 4-6pm for the best in punk rock, along with some amazing ska, rockabilly, and psychobilly tracks (and the occasional indie or hip hop gem)!
