WHAT IS ZIGGY’S FUND ?

Ray and Carol Zicarelli spent many years of their life together helping those that could not help themselves.

They donated time and money to many local animal rescue emergencies. A few years ago Ray joined many of his four legged friends over Rainbow Bridge.

Carol continues in their lifetime passion of contributing to the quality of animals in need.

Paws Inn the Woods is establishing a Rescue Fund in honor of Carol and Ray’s efforts. Ray’s friends used to call him “Ziggy”. We thought that would be a great name for our Rescue Fund. So, “Ziggy’s Fund” was born!!!

This fund will be used for local rescue only. We will not fund any other established fund.

If you are interested in helping local rescues, please donate what you can. We intend to continue our efforts to fund spaying and neutering, basic veterinary check ups, training, and even starter kits for beds, crates, etc.

We will post on our "official" website who we help, with pictures and what we provided.

Please donate what you can. We will also accept crates of all sizes, which will be passed on to new homes of the rescues.

There are many animals that are abandoned and just need a new start. Sometimes there are families available with a lot of love, but limited funds. Sometimes there are families with extra money to help rescues, but with no room for another pet. We would like to assist both of these situations and turn them into a win-win for both types of families.

We appreciate your donations. We recently opened our Ziggy’s Fund account with a $400 deposit. We are now up to $500. Pictures of Ziggy’s friends are posted at our kennel.

We have helped a lot, but there are always more to help.
