The First. The Finest. The Future

About Me

Welcome to the headquarters for drumheads. This is Evans. We’ve got something for every drummer, something to take you to new sounds, new tone and to reach new volumes. Since 1965, when the first synthetic, waterproof drumhead was invented, Evans didn’t stop striving for its daring, edgy sound – we lead, we don’t know how to do anything else. We’ve studied sound and developed technologies that bring out the best in every drum and drummer. From the EMAD Bass Heads to the EC (Edge Control) Tom and Snare heads…every Evans head has to be technologically innovative and sophisticated, allowing you, the drummer, to rip out sound you never knew you could. We get into the minds of players and deliver a sound that pushes the envelope.
