MY DJ PROFILE :Originally started out as a hiphop/dj for breakdance crew the s.t.a.rockers in the mid 80's playing at house partys and youth clubs in the St.Albans area eventually gaining a spot with my mentors POSITIVE FORCE soundsystem (famed for Chris Forbes of soultrain fame, Roger Jhonson former UK dj Champion, Matt Jam Lamont, Dj STUMPY, Bertie B and GHOST now of THE GIGOLOS CREW.)With the beginning of house/hardcore scene i gained a local residency at a bar named the BUCK Stops Here with a then budding dj from watford named Danny who was the tightest mixing dj id come accross he later became known as LTJ Bukem and i spent two years watching and learning a lot from Dan (Cheers M8) I got my first real club bookings in 1991 at The Grid in luton then Milwakees bedford, Dreamscape Various venues and INNERSENSENSE at the Lazerdrome in Peckham (which used to be ran by Shola Ama's Mum) & Wonderland @ The Astoria London, alongside Grooverider, Randall, Fabio , Peshay LTJ BUKEM etc.As my musical tastes changed i got into the room 2 U.S house sounds of the time like Dj Diciple, Spen Eric Morillo & Strictly Rythm which along with a few good UK producers like Grant Nelson. This music was essentially the beggining of the UK Garage scene had afew plays at various london clubs such as Aquarium & The Leisure Lounge. Around this time i was offered a job in Bedford by a m8 @ His Record Shop which i eventually bought of him and renamed it JUST A GROOVE RECORDS and ran for six years . IT was during this time that i then teamed up with Dj Daz Norman and started CATCH THE FEELIN a club night and Dj duo ( well and Mc Gold) which became a national tour night eventually doin regular nights @ creation Bristol , The Acadamy Swansea the sanctuary and as well as our own nights we gained plays at SUN CITY, GARAGE NATION, 7 WONDERS, RAGS 2 RICHES and many more inluding a spot on RADIO1 s Sunday night dreem teem show. The main thing during this period was a 3 year collaboration with Mickey Zoo a Top London Promoter eventually co-running Experience/ Catch The feelin @ Camden Palace and others with him & Daz even including involvement on the Cambersands weekenders & CLUB NIGHTS IN AYIA NAPA @ the SPOT CLUB. In 2003 I spent 5 Months In IBIZA and had the time of my life and the best experience of the club promotion game at its ruthless best(lol) Whilst there i got to know a mutual friend of Mickys Zoo's ,Steve gordon who ran Twice as Nice and got a warm up at Es Pardis San Antonio which has got to rate in my books as one of the best lookin clubs in the world . After returning to England I Started promoting Concerts and have been involved with Tour Legs from artists such as DMX, KANYE WEST, JA RULE, MARIO WINANS , BUJU BANTON and believe thats hard graft also i started djin at a club called Mission and had a great 2 year residency 2003-2005 Aswell as this i have been resident at oxygen nightclub 2005-2008, Now working with my own brand in st.Albans @ Adelaides every friday LOS AMERICAS & PROMOTING THE CATCHTHEFEELIN brand at Mantra (Windsor) Chapel 29 (BEDFORD)and run my own night ALO CHECKOUT BAR SOVIET BEDFORD EVERY SAT 8pm -1am free entry alongside Mc GOLD & GUEST DJS Playing R&B & GARAGE
