Come 1996, he had his own set of decks and was an avid listener of Kool 94.5 FM and was a regular listener to DJ Brockie and DJ Mampi Swift. Through mixing Drum and Bass, he began playing sets in the local area at nights such as Jungle Jam, Lovelight and Elite held within Bedfordshire. However, he was also an avid follower of the Drum and Bass MC's who were at the top at the time - names such as MC Skibadee, MC Det and MC Shabba. In 1997 he met up with DJ Trigger at College and DJ Flight from the local area - the 3 of them regularly mixing it up at regular events in Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire.
In 1998, he followed the path of DJ KC into the Underground Garage scene and at the same time DJ Trigger and DJ Flight formed a crew known as "Forte" - it was also at this time that Master C made a switch from DJ'ing to try his hand at MC'ing. The chemistry within Forte worked well and Master C was able to develop his MC'ing skills as part of the crew.
Over the following years, Master C toured with DJ KC as an MC at a number of Garage events, such as Garage Nation and Stush, including a number of bookings for the Midlands Sidewinder award winning event - Catch the Feelin. He also featured alongside MC KG at Warwick University for a then up n coming DJ Charma.
After a number of years away, Master C came back with the emergence of Bassline 4x4 and now holds residencies with the Award winning Sun City and the Award winning Catch the Feelin. He can now be found on rotation with guest appearances on the following stations [see Diary for details]:
