Simona Peron today is a lyricist a back up vocalist, recording studio manager, coordinator and personal artist manager.
She wrote lyrics for Roch Voisine, Vincenzo Thoma, Filippa Giordano and is now writing and producing with Thoma and Steve Galante, PARISSE'S, debut album
Simona was a back vocalist for 20 years in Italy. Among many she toured with Richard Cocciante and sang duets with the most popular Italian artists. Simona’s collaborations stand out with artists such as: Jon Anderson and Vangelis, Zucchero, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Amii Stewart, Laura Pausini and Roch Voisine. She was part of the orchestra as a back up vocalist at the Sanremo Festival in 1994, 2001 and 2003.
She is the voice of Jasmine in the Italian version of Walt Disney's "Aladdin" and she also released a couple of albums in Italy, Canada, Scandinavia and the Benelux.Simona's vocal range reaches almost 4-octaves. She sings a variety of styles, and besides managing the studio and coordinating studio productions and various events she writes for other artists, co-produces and still lends her voice to the studio.Simona is presently working on many projects together with Vincenzo Thoma and Steve Galante. FILIPPA GIORDANO, and VINCENZO THOMA'S new album, an exciting project under the artistic direction of Rick Allison.Thoma is not only a singer but a versatile songwriter-producer.
He has written and signed the arrangements for J’ai Zappé on Lara Fabian’s platinum selling album Pure and has co-written Rio with Rick Allison always for Lara Fabian on her album titled Nue.Thoma also wrote and arranged Since you’ve gone on Roch Voisine’s album titled Higher, and written for many more international artists such as Chimène Badi, Marie-Elaine Thibert, Patrick Fiori, Ima, Francesca Gagnon, Réné Dupéré (Cirque du Soleil), Dan Bigras and Judith Bérard, to name a few.
Thoma and Galante wrote a song for Filippa Giordano that won second place at the Sanremo Festival.Steve Galante began his career in Italy as a producer, composer, musician and programmer/sound engineer.
