MTV is to music as KFC is to chicken

About Me

I am a postgraduate animation student, amateur film-maker/director, independent musician, cartoonist, illustrator and graphic designer. My film/animation work (thus far) includes mainly projects completed during my BA and promotional work for my ongoing music project Struwwelpeter (also on MySpace ). As well as writing, performing and producing my own music I have worked with numerous other independent bands and artists such as The Labrys Quartet, Lacklustre Triumvirate, Heartcore, Winobie, Mark Tracey & Silverfish. As long as I'm pimping my indie nonsense, why not have a gander at 'Mitchells In England' , my old cult-cult-cult-cult comic strip.
Like a lot of pasty, overweight males, I have a blog . Unfortunately it isn't especially introspective, as those who know me will attest there isn't a lot to...introspect? Really it's a production journal for my MA film 'House Guest'. Check it out, comment, call me names through the beauty of internet anonymity, whatever tickles your pickle...

My Interests

Music, cinema, literature, cartoons, graphic design, illustration, art, sound design, cuisine, coffees of the world...

I'd like to meet:

I'd be happy to network with any animators, film-makers etc that share my interests and influences. Am always eager to meet people who play interesting instruments to collaborate with as my meagre 'skills' on the music-production front don't extent far beyond fancy software applications.
Although I'm a UK citizen I'm a strong advocate for the Libertarians, who seem to be the last hope for the US (and by extension, the world). If you're a registered US voter and are bored of strictly left or right arguments I'd suggest you take the time to hear them out.
