About Me

Well... without going into an autobiography, here is a little about me.
I have a fabulous husband, his name is Matt and we have been married for 10 years now. Best decision of my life. We have 4 children. Eddie 23 (single), Crystal 22 (married, no kids), Megan 18 (single) and Maggie 4. She was planned, just didn't expect her to take so long to get here.
We have 4 psycho cats and 2 goofy dogs. All of the animals have some kind of disorder going on. It's true... I'm not crazy, they are.
After serious consideration, that took all of 30 seconds, we have decided to give up the rat race and head to Mexico. Matt, Maggie and I will be moving there as soon as the house sells. We purchased a restaurant franchise and are very excited about this new chapter in our life.
I will be blogging daily about the journey and all of it's trial, tribulations and rewards. Come along with me...

My Interests

Imagine a world
where we all

I'd like to meet:

The people I most want to meet are my friends from the Outer Circle Coffee House!! They are the best bunch of folks and a person couldn't ask for any better friends!! Just look below at my friends list and get to know some of them yourself!

Perfection of Four
Eddie, Crystal, Megan & Maggie

Music:

I love Classic Rock. And I mean the real Classic Rock:

Led Zepplin
Pink Floyd
Black Sabbath
Aerosmith
Van Halen

Although, I can't decide which album I like best... "Led Zeppelin IV" or Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon"

I also love The Dave Matthews Band and some other more current artists.

Movies:

I like to collect Steven King movies:

The Stand
It
The Shining
Carrie
Firestarter

Television:

The only television that I really watch is "House", "24", "American Idol" and CNN Headline News. I don't spend a whole lot of time in front of the TV.

24 - The best show on TV!

So sad to see "Six Feet Under" end.

Books:

I love to read. Matt and I must have close to 1000 books. I like non-fiction more than fiction nowadays. I don't like biographies. Certainly a true-crime fan and anything related to it. I collect special edition and first edition Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I also like Ann Rice.

My favorite all time book... "The Stand" by Stephen King.

The only book I ever had to read non-stop. I stayed up all night until I was finished. "Intensity" by Dean Koontz. It really is intense!

The scariest non-fiction book I've ever read... it will make you think about the unseen world around you. "The Coming Plague" by Laurie Garrett.

Heroes:

My heroes are the most important people in my life: Matt - my wonderful husband; my mother; and my 4 beautiful children. They all inspire me in their own special way. :o)

Children I have 4 children: Eddie (23), Crystal (22), Megan (19) and Maggie (4).

What Happened to the Fear?

Fear.  Is it learned or instinctual?  Infants have no fear.  A baby learning how to crawl will keep right on going over a glass table top without considering the possibility of falling....
