Being me is a full time job, and I haven’t missed a day yet!

About Me

The whole machinery of our intelligence, our general ideas and laws, fixed and external objects, principles, persons, and gods, are so many symbolic, algebraic expressions. They stand for experience; experience which we are incapable of retaining and surveying in its multitudinous immediacy. We should flounder hopelessly, like the animals, did we not keep ourselves afloat and direct our course by these intellectual devices. Theory helps us to bear our ignorance of fact.
Fate must be defied many times in order for a person to actually be called alive. This is because only a fool clings to Fate instead of living their own lives.
Well to start off I am 25 years old, I reside in El Paso Texas, and I am a Computer Engineering major and currently working on a masters on Media Advertising (hey when a job offers paid tuition it is a shame to let it go to waste) but my passion is Psychology, and Philosophy (to the point that in the future I might be looking for another degree in either one). I like things that challenge and entice the mind, and I am a strong advocate of advance learning and independent thought. I have a wide range of hobbies and interests ranging from photography to Magic. I like to learn new things all the time, but as soon as I think I have a grip on them I lose interest, the reason I like Psychology and Philosophy is because there is always something new to learn from these subjects. I also like photography (that was my minor back in the day and will probably be again for my media advertising major) Advertising (doing this as a side job right now) Art (My high school passion… yes I was a Art geek) and recently video editing. I also like to party, and hang out with my friends. I consider myself a late bloomer, and also a strong atheist, I have my reasons and I don't expect for everyone to understand, but just as I don't push my beliefs on anyone (although I do voice my opinions strongly) I expect the same from others (but I do enjoy a good argument with theists... everyone is entitled to their beliefs and they should voice them appropriately !) ever since I was a kid I would question religion (it was during my classes to take first communion when it started... I was about 9 or 10), but remained quiet and submissive because it was the way I was brought up, now (thanks to the study of Philosophy) I have learned how to live life to the fullest and not worry too much of what everyone else thinks of me, so maybe more people hate me than before, and more people are disappointed in some of the things that I have done, but I don’t care! I am having the time of my life, and I am getting to meet so many interesting people I wouldn’t have it any other way. Get your layout at Free myspace layouts| Free myspace comments | Funny images
