Eyes to the back of the room

By my own suggestion, i will ask no questions...I do my thing in the background - all the time.

About Me

What the fuck is torque?... you may ask in a rather uncaring manner. TORQUE, motherfucker, is an 9 year long running balls out Drum & Bass party.
This is Orlando's weekly Drum & Bass showcase as hosted by Circle K and Mc Collaborator. Keep an eye out for weekly monday night and special weekend shows with BIG ASS D&B Headliners from the US and UK!!!
These are the best parties with the best music you're gonna find anywhwere in Otown. Maybe not though. You could be outlandishly gay and consider a 'good time' listening to "Pour some sugar on me" or "Fergalicious" at the top level or rooftop of some shitty club downtown - sippin and pissin' bud light and engaging in mindless, droning conversations with people you wish you could fuck but can't quite get the words out right from that massive think-tank of yours. I love you, orlando..so very fucking much. insert vomit noise here.
And guess what local hardcore/metal band teamed up with the Torque/Jungala Crew to bring Orlando's very first Drum & Bass show with live bands in between sets? That's right...What passes for Winter. Is it all comin together for ya?
What you have given: Part I
By Dennis Scelza
I've let sorrow take place of hope
You were the one who read my words
teaching me what strength is
Supposing someday
I could let this go
It would be my end...
Takes away the one thing that defines me
In death will I be remembered?
Solace will never come.
Although you've been taken
I've had your words with me
A chance to recall you
Your chance to live through me
Your death plagues me
Your death will not be forgot
I have changed indefinitely -
Changing Indefinitely
Renouncing the world you have left
I'll never alter
whatever murdered you,
but I aim to alter
what's left here without you.
Your death plagues me

What you have given Pt. II
by Dennis Scelza
At the bottom I have found reprieve
to block out the losses I've recieved
Hope fills this heart
just as fast as hope leaves this heart-
I'm swaying back and forth
to find the answer
to seperate from self
my muse has left me here to decipher
Hurting myself was an option...
never brought me closer to you
Staying grounded was to believe these words
brought me closer to you
Has sorrow forever replaced hope? Undone
I refuse to remain undone
True belief solace will come - shaping this life
Blood and ink will be the same
words alluding to your name -
To honor the victim
A world plagued with my thoughts
won't have the chance to defend itself.
Parting away with this regret -
I won't forget you
Stopping at nothing
to payback what you have given

"How beautiful the way the sun sets. As we stared up at the same sky, and swore for an eternity that the stars would collide. I can reach the sky, but I still can't touch your heart. Can we dream of tomorrow when we can't even get through today?.... In these echoes of silence, I can hear the angels sing, yearning for forgiveness, and the healing of broken wings with hearts on fire. I'm praying for the clouds to hold me in its embrace. I am trying to stand on these broken legs. Reflecting on memories I have so yearned to erase. Tears run for so long that I have gotten used to the taste."

Lyrics from skycamefalling, one of America's most prolific hardcore bands.
