About Me

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. J. R. R. Tolkien ~Bruce and I have been blissfully married for 23 years, together for 25+. He's a RET/SF/GroupCSM. He is half of the flesh and blood that makes me whole(Mr.Mister). We have 4 kids and 4 grands and 1 wonderful son-in-law. Photographer for the most part, artist when inspired and singer 24/7. I'm the "baby" of 6 so I'm not too serious. I LOVE Autumn and hate Summer. I'm a chronic night person and love my solitude. I'm 50/50 introvert/extrovert and pretty much 100% melancholy so you never know what you'll get. Bruce and I plan to move to Wales later down the road for a decade or so when our kids are on their own. ~MUSIC~MUSIC~MUSIC~ These songs are more than music…they are the blueprint of my life. From a long struggle until finally finding love, finding God, finding strength and finding me. The hardest test I have endured in my life was when my husband was deployed to Afghanistan. These are musical stepping stones and will forever ring as an anthem of my love for not only my wonderful husband but for this wonderful life God has graced me with. Monty Python's Holy Grail (if you don't get it, I can explain) Nothing can compare to The Lord of the Rings, I ,II and III! Classics like: Grapes of Wrath, To Kill a Mockingbird, Citizen Kane, The Wizard of Oz, How Green Was My Valley, Lawrence of Arabia, Little Big Man, The Corn is Green, Hedd Wynn, The 10 Commandments, Ben Hur, The Miracle Worker and all Buster Keaton and Marx Brothers films! ~New classics like: Chronicles of Narnia, Napaleon Dyanmite, Best in Show/Mighty Wind/Waiting for Guffman, Hudsucker Proxy, The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain, Dumb and Dumber, Weird Al's UHF, ALL of Steve Oedekerk's work, High Strung and the "THUMB" series, Brazil, The Mission, and the most important film to be made IMHO, The Passion of the Christ.~Favorite actor Ioan Gruffudd~ This was a documentary-type short film done in 2004 about the Bardic tradition in Wales. It's a completely Welsh language clip, and also features Ioan's best friend Matthew Rhys. Please listen to this if you have a few minutes. Welsh is the OLDEST language in all of Europe, older than German, Italian, French, Gaelic and the like. It is NOT Gaelic, it's Cymraeg~

Television:

I am finding it harder and harder to find something worth watching on TV, I despise all "reality" shows!!! Educational and Travel shows, Car shows like TOP GEAR, "How To Do Stuff" Shows, American Idol (Singing Contest, not reality), Good Eats, What Not To Wear(UK), The Dog Whisperer, Home Movies, Invader Zim, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Firefly, Kyle XY, Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends, and if its about someone interesting I'll watch Biography. And I enjoy old Black and White movies~

Books:

The Bible. Books with information and instruction: Photography, Stained Glass, Calligraphy. I love Oversized Photo Books and Arts and Crafts Books. I have to have visual stimulation to hold my attention. And I have "Literary Narcolepsy", so I fall asleep when I read.
