Whenever it gets chilly and drizzly out, I like to make warm food for warm people. Scrabble is more fun than you think. Shopping? not so fun. I write when I can conjure up the time, I sing constantly in the car, I so dig live music, I check my messages (email, voicemail, what have you--by the way, Sprint PCS is utterly and incomprehensibly incompetent, I'm just sayin'...) freakishly often, politics move me, I absolutely love going to the movies.

Adem, Hem, Amadou and Mariam, Regina Spektor, Cat Power, Eleni Mandell, Death Cab for Cutie,Imogen Heap, Ray LaMontagne, Gotan Project, Mark Kozolek, Sun Kil Moon, The Elected, The Cure, Martin Sexton, Feist, Damien Rice, Be Good Tanyas, Miles, Tom Waits, Joni Mitchell, Wilco, John Prine, Postal Service, Erin McKeown, Bob Dylan, Ani DiFranco, Everything but the Girl, Greg Brown, Cassandra Wilson, Lucinda Williams, Leonard Cohen, Nina Simone, Nick Drake---ahhh, listing music I don't like would be easier, because my tastes are eclectic and far reaching. Is there any music I don't like? nothing immediately comes to mind.
Life is Beautiful, Word Wars, God is Great and I am Not, Amelie, Royal Tenenbaums, Happy Accidents, Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, If Lucy Fell, Rushmore, Raising Arizona, Shop Girl, Lost in Translation, Match Point

those who stay unswayingly true to themselves. And Mark Canak.
