My Interests

Hot Vinyasa Yoga has changed how I perceive the world, music, making amazing meals, eating amazing meals. Going out, conversations where people are actually saying something. Belgian Whites, Guinness and Boh. Working on the house and gardening. Acupuncture. Pushing my boundaries and broadening my horizons. My stunning wife (my how she pushes my boundaries and broadens my horizons). My inner nerd. Getting my school on and loving it.

I'd like to meet:

Whoever is authorized to add a day or two to the standard week.

Music:

anything from the Beatles to the Yeah, Yeah Yeah's......Built to Spill, Seam, The Stones, Spoon, You will know us, Nina Simone, The Jesus Lizard, Lungfish, The Decemberists, American Analog Set, Mates of State, Interpol, Beirut, Sufjan Stevens, Johnny Cash, The Shins, Yo La Tengo,Devotchka Local music but not the local music scenester bullshit.

Movies:

The Professional, The Godfather, Fight Club, Braveheart, High Fidelity, American Beauty, Oh Brother Where Art Thou (or anything by the Coen Brothers), Romeo and Juliet/Moulin Rouge (Baz Luhrmann is a genius). Office Space, Identity, Shawshank Redemption, Amelie, House of Yes, Garden State, Little Miss Sunshine, The Manchurian Candidate (the original). The Matrix (the first one), Most comic book movies that don't have Dolph Lundgren in them. Y Tu Mama Tambien, In America, Kolya, Waking Ned Divine, Eternal Sunshine.

Television:

Lost, The Office - British and US versions (Obviously the UK version is genius, but I think it's unfair to compare the two) The Sopranos, Six Feet Under(best fiction on the idiot box), Band of Brothers, Arrested Development, The Wire, Carnivale, Bring it back!!. (are we noticing a trend here yet?), Americas Next Top Model, Project Runway, Pretty much anything on Discovery Channel (I can't get enough of this in HD), MPT, History Channel, American Geo, TLC and Bravo.

Books:

The Godfather, The Davinci Code, Driving Mr. Albert, Catcher in the Rye, Cat's Cradle, Slaughterhouse Five. I need to read more.
